MY PROFESSIONAL UX RESEARCH TOOLBOX
I have always been a curious, analytical thinker. I started my career as a successful business development professional. However, there was always a tickle in the back of my mind while I worked- how could the product, service, and process I'd been working with be optimized for the user? The day I crossed paths with the field of User Experience was the day my professional aspirations changed course. I completed my Masters in Human-Computer Interaction at DePaul University in August 2017. However, that tickle in my mind hasn't left- how can I apply what I have learned about technology design to new and exciting projects? I have a strong grasp of the human-centered design process and have practiced user experience research in both industry and academic contexts. Along with my strong user experience research skill set, I also am proficient in professional and technical writing and have authored several peer-reviewed publications. I thrive in dynamic teams and posses strong organizational skills that have led to consistent leadership and mentoring roles. I am enthusiastic team player and clear communicator that is also well versed in public speaking. Feel free to contact me if you have questions or interest in my academic publications or professional portfolio samples!
